Quarter Century

I am officially twenty five.

I know this is a late post but I haven't got the time to update and only recently I decided to continue writing, since I am going to be jobless soon.

Acme, Bangsar
Anyway, back to the story. So every year on my birthday there'll be two celebrations; one with friends which is on the night before my birthday and one on my birthday itself with the fam bam because me and my mama, we share the same birthday (am i special or what, to be sharing the same birthday as my mum?!). Well, out of all the years that I have been living with so many different extravaganza celebrations, this year hmm I didn't expect anything and I wasn't even excited like I always do (maybe age factor) or maybe because everyone else is so busy with their own life that it is so hard to get everybody together. Hence, I learned one thing this year and that is; when you don't expect anything at all from anyone (minus the birthday presents) you'll feel content and of course a lil surprised (just to make everybody happy with their surprise) hahaha. And BOOM there it was, D took me on a beautiful birthday dinner at Acme, Bangsar. Actually theres so many details about birthday celebration and I just don't know where to start hmmm.

Okay first, I know the mastermind behind this is my sister (only she knows what I want) and of course D. The rest were invited but them of course! My very special guest who came all the way from JB is Kimmy, my baby G! I was so happy when I saw her cause she missed my birthday for two years already so this year was special cause she made it down all the way from her busy schedule just for me, how lovely. I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world. There she is, in the picture below.

Of course there is the rest and another special person, Shamir Ariffin! Whose birthday is just two days before mine :) he too, made it all the way from Sentul to Bangsar for my birthday dinner, despite, not sleeping for two days haih. I feel so blessed.

And of course, the mastermind herself.

So these was all taken after dinner outside the restaurant cause obviously, better lighting ahahaha.

The Sixth
And we all moved onto The Sixth, Bangsar for my birthday countdown. I swear the slice of cake I got was super delicious. First time ever, I finished my cake cause I am not a cake person but this time it was really good. I can't recall the name but its some Peach Crumble something, you may look for it at Acme or The Sixth, not sure where the cake came from cause everything is a secret that the birthday girl shouldn't know -.- So as the clock strike 12, came that delicious piece of cake which is making my mouth watery again now and the whole gang sang happy birthday song to me. The only thing was missing was D!!

Whatsapp : D, where are you?
D : Im at 7E buying cigarettes for everyone, never mind, you guys carry on.

So being the kind person as I am *coughs* I waited for D to come back and made everybody sing again and cut the cake. So that means I get to blow my cake twice and made two wishes hahaha.

And we partied all the way till the bar shuts down. Kavi, Kyian and Riena left earlier because they had work to do the next day and I find it very sweet of them to be attending my birthday when I just got to know them. They even bought me cupcakes from Bisou! How sweet is that?! I have decided that they are my new squad and I just love Kyian, he is the bomb. I knew we would be bffs the moment I knew him. Riena is just this sweet girl, always saying the nice things to make you feel sensibly good. And Kavi, which is Riena's brother, he is also the sweetest. They all made me talk and made me feel like their friends, the first time I met them and something warm about them that makes me feel comfortable.

Last but not least of course, D's bffs.

So there it was, a beautiful Friday night to celebrate my 25th birthday and I was very happy that everybody managed to take some time off their busy schedule for me. I felt so special. Thank you so much. I appreciate every second of it. I wish I could turn back time and be there on my chair again, looking at everyone talking to each other.

Cheers to everybody for making this happen for me. I am happy to say I am entering the quarter century group feeling blessed. And oh our very own tradition, to let go each and every balloon with a wish. Just a tradition, me and my sister created to make it more special :)

*I know this post is a lil too long but I just had to squeeze every moment in cause it is just too special.

Close your eyes, make a wish and blow the candle Qilah.

xx
