Hey there!
So I guess now its just once a year update kinda thing. Well, obviously I skipped 2018 altogether cause I was so busy flying. Obviously, so many changes done in the past year.
Job : Changed to being radio announcer
Guy : Obviously changed too
Home : Changed to another block
As for the rest, things remain the same. Probably, I've changed. Changed not for the better. Its that time again, back to mild depression. Back to feeling lost. Back to not knowing myself. Back to this maze. So what do I do when this happens? 1; Revert to writing and 2; back to my roots. Number 2 is obviously not an obvious option for now which I don't understand why.
Oh dear, well here I am reverting to writing because this the closest way to my peace of mind. I have so much to express yet so blank to type. What do I say to myself? That I am depressed? Unhappy? Or should I just throw all this away and cover it with positivity? Or should I just let myself drown? If I drown, who is gonna save me? Or drown and bury my true self with it? Reborn to be something I'm not?
I thought growing up was supposed to make you more stable, mentally and emotionally? what happened to adulting? Or could adulting be the reason? Im lost.
LOST.
Lets escape

Beyond Convenience : Part 2
Hi! So as I said in my earlier post I would try my best to keep updating my blog every year. Here I am again in the beginning of 2017 "updating" my blog haha. So lets get started, here we go.
As you can see the title, this is going to be the continuation of my work story which is yawn HAHA. Well, now its been 7 months I've joined Firefly. HOW TIME FLIES RIGHT GUYS? Another 5 months and I've completed a year in this company and then another year to finish my bond and get the fuck out LOL. ANYWAY, in total I've been flying for 5 months now and to be really honest.. I am already bored of my job. Can you believe it? Maybe its just me who feel that way cause this is my first airline and its just domestic airline so I have not yet explore the real airline industry. So here is the true facts about airline industry (perception may vary depending on people but this is my perception);
THE CONS
- You fuck things up, they dont care letting you go cause they lose 1 they'll get 100 more
- Courtesy is a practice and not character anymore, you have to ALWAYS respect your cic/superior and let them have everything before you or you are considered rude (even if you are dying and you need to eat that last piece of curry puff but she takes it JUST BECAUSE) YES, high power distance in this industry guys and surprisingly only in Malaysia.
- Everyone here is FAKE. So watch your back or you'll get eaten. I mean not all but MAJORITY, you just cant trust nobody but there are really some small group of SUPER NICE and SUPER HONEST people.
- Gossip spread faster than politic news/conspiracy in USA. I SWEAR, here they can know what car you drive, how much you earn, what you do outside your work time and etc. I swear they are so lifeless they live to get the stories of your life,
- Most of the crew are from problematic background, hence, they are problematic too and guess what? I am technically one of them HAHAHAHA.
- If you are fat, out you go without a doubt!
THE PROS
-Those really nice ones will always help you and genuinely care for you.
-Some officers in other department will help cover your ass when you fuck the littlest things up (like overslept..)
-Passengers can REALLY MAKE YOUR DAY, the nice ones of course. They make all your long day effort and energy worth it.
-Captains SOME are really nice like a father figure which makes you feel safe.
Hmm, well basically thats all I can think of and obviously more cons than pros HAHAHAHA! See how terrible this industry is, I mean of course there are some good things la kan maybe I am just being too honest LOL. Also, bare in mind you will get bullied eventually. I was lucky I only got bullied once but some crew really had the hardest time of their life getting bullied at work. Like I said, different people have got different opinion and experiences, this varies. But for me all in all, It is not that bad. It is an easy job (cause my airline is domestic ONLY hence its easy plus its a small aircraft; propeller) with good pay. Literally you work about 10-12 days average a month, and you get paid like people who work in office 5 days a week so you do the math.
Thats all for now!

Perhentian : Part 2
Its been almost two months for me to update the second part of this post. Lets hope I still remember most of the things okay? So here it goes..
*Incoming message
Kimmy : B tell me again how to get to perhentian?
Me : If you are coming here by flight, land in Kota Bharu cause its closer to take bus to the jetty from there.
Due to bad line coverage in our hotel room, messages didnt get through unless when you are lucky -_-
*Phone ringing at 6am.
Kimmy: B I dah otw ni, can you tell me what is the name of your hotel. Im reaching the jetty very soon and how do i get a boat to get there?
Me: What? Ohh.. *gave her the details and realizing 10 seconds later that she is here! Wait, WHAT? You are here?! You really came all the way here from JB?! And.. the line cuts off.
As excited as I was about this news, I still wont believe it until I see her face for real. My heart was pumping for her call to confirm with me, I kid you not. And being the typical me, I woke everyone up accidentally with that loud phone call. We all got ready and decided to head down for breakfast while waiting for Kimmy's arrival. As we were walking to the restaurant, I received another phone call from her saying that she'll arrive at 10am just in time for our snorkeling trip. YEAY! So here is our morning face HAHAHA
Since Wan is super excited to play with water, we decided to wrap up our breakfast session and head down to the beach so we can see Kimmy too. Soon after, THERE SHE WAS! KIMMY!! With her backpack HAHAHA walking towards us. We were so excited, I was super duper excited and surprised cause she came to celebrate my birthday getaway. We rushed to put her things in the store room and head to the boat for our snorkeling trip. It was A-MA-ZING! We went to 5 islands. I wish I can remember the names but I only remember 3 islands; turtle island(cause I saw two turtle hehe), fisherman's village(cause we ate lunch there and I went to the clinic to get my ears checked) and romantic island(cause it was the clearest of all island in Perhentian Kecil).
So yeah thats the summary of all those places. I wish I could snap pictures through my eyes though. Watching the turtle peacefully eating was so adorable. I wish I can capture that but they were miles away down at the bottom of the sea. Soon as the snorkeling trip was over, we decided to take Kimmy to long beach. She was so happy and as usual, me being the most happy one, I was under the sun the whole time and believe my I am still tanned on the exposed areas. Unbelievable right? Its been two months, my skin should restored by now haih. The rest was super exhausted, hence, we decided to chill and eat by the side. We all had our fair share of big calamari. I think we should have eaten more seafood cause its really worth it. Then Kimmy got excited with banana boat. She treated us to some nice banana boat ride. That was the last activity of the day, I mean of course we soaked ourselves in that beautiful cold water till the sun was down. I dont remember being out of the water for long unless we decided to go back to the hotel or eat. Other than that, I was out there thinking I was some European that would never turn dark with that kind of exposure to the sun -_- Right after banana boat, was dinner! Yes, everyone's favorite time of the day. Aha then it started raining, so we all walked back to the room ad change. Initial plan was to go out and explore the beach at night, but it was pouring even more outside and it was not safe for us to walk that STEEP road across to long beach. SO we changed into our pyjamas and stayed in. Got high chilling, packing and getting ready to leave the next day. To our surprise, we all slept in early. HAHA what a vacation.
Rise and shine the next morning, all ready and set to go home. We had to part ways with Lena and Wan cause they are heading to Kelantan. We had quick breakfast so that we wont miss our bus. We took off before Lena and Wan. Okay this is the suckiest part of the trip; the journey back home. It was ridiculous. There was traffic all the way until the pit stop. Well, in total our journey was 10 hours or more. We left the jetty at 12pm and reached BTS at 1am. I was sleeping the whole way because I didnt wanna focus on my back pain. Kimmy was very active though, she was wazing all the way and booking hotel for herself in kl before she took off to JB the next day. We were dead after the bus ride and super happy we reached KL. Lesson learnt; no more going back with bus for the next perhentian trip, I'd rather spend a bit more but less back pain. I dropped Kimmy off to her hotel in Sepang died on bed the moment I reached home.
So I guess I dont remember all the little details cause this post is short hahaha. So there, my complete journey to Perhentian with my girls. Obviously, one was missing and that is Mai but I hope we'll plan more trips together next time.
I felt special when she decided to join and surprise me all the way from South, I love you Kimmy Jamal.

Beyond Convenience
The first week of Ramadhan, my sister came up with the crazy idea that I should join her for Firefly flight attendance open interview. Everybody in my life know that stewardess is never my thing but I still got my ass up for that interview to support my sister. I knew she miss flying and I knew this airline would fit her better because its much lesser work and better pay than MAS. So I went with her crazy idea and went for the first interview. Just so you know, the when I woke up for the first interview and having to put makeup early in the morning like that, I ALREADY HATE THE JOB hahaha. I swear waking up early and looking pretty EVERYDAY is not my thing. Please k, natural beauty is the best.
First interview
As everyone know, Firefly HQ is at Citta Mall (thank god cause its close to my house haha) So yeah, the open interview was held for 2 days. We decided to go on the last day, hoping it would be less crowded since its fasting month. I swear as we got closer to the interview day, we were so lazy, I mean in my case I was never interested but in my sister's case, hmm she was maybe lazy to fly again and waking up 2 hours early to get ready kot. Hmm idk but she got her reasons. Anyway, the first interview was at 10am. So as usual, my sister is one annoying punctual person so we got there by 9.30am and bumped into her friend from MAS. They were from the same batch so we catched up. Guess what was the interview like? Basically:
- Line up for the receptionist to check your resume and all the other things they ask you to bring (passport pic, full length pictures, certificates and all)
- Once they see all that is complete, they write a number on your resume.
- Line up again and wait for your number. Once your number is up, they'll take your height and weight.
- Back in line, wait for the interviewers to call you. Once called, they'll check for scars/tattoos on your body. Then, they'll ask you to walk and turn. Then, I was asked briefly about myself and why I choose Firefly. After all that was done, I was told that it was just pre-screening, if they like me they'll call in two weeks time. Done,
Yesssss everyone that was the first interview haha easy right? Maybe it was blessing of the holy month of Ramadhan that everything was easy and smooth. All in all there was only 30-40 people in total. However, different time and different people may experience different things. My sister's friend went through different thing during her interview. Less than two weeks after, they called me and my sister up for the second interview. We were told there is going to be an english exam, if pass then you'll proceed to the final stage of interview. And so we decided to just go with an open mind cause we are not that keen on this job. AGAIN, the whole process of getting up early and looking all pretty EARLY IN THE MORNING AINT MY THING so we all know I ALREADY HATE THE JOB EVEN MORE. Haih, I am just not a morning person okay.
Second interview
- Started at 830am. We were all put together in a room to fill in the interview form/. Once everyone filled in the form we had to wait for 15-30mins.
- Then we were all called to another room for the exam. So this exam consist of; brief malaysian history, brief firefly history, simple maths, iq test and grammar test.
- Once done, we have to wait for the rest to finish theirs and for the examiner to mark the papers to see who pass. We waited for 45min or so.
- 45 mins later, examiner announced who passed and who failed the test. Alhamdulillah 95% of the room passed and eligible for the final stage interview.
- We had to wait again, another 30-45mins for my turn. I was so glad and happy that I was the second group to be called in for interview. Basically, each group of 3 for each interview session.
And as usual, if they are interested they'll call after two weeks, Right after my turn was my sister's turn. Again, I guess its the blessing of this holy month Ramadhan. Everything went smooth and easy. Of course I was still nervous but still smooth. So less than two weeks later, which is today, I got a call from them saying I got the job! OF ALL PEOPLE, WHY ME?? Sadly, my sister didnt get it and I was sadder than happy when I got to know she wont be joining me like what the heck, she is more experienced! She should be hired and I would at least have someone I know and we can go to class together and eat together like what the hell. I hate this job already :( Well, lets just try to be positive okay and maybe this is my chance to shine financially and career wise. Collect that money for two years and start my own business (we'll see if this is gonna happen two years later haha) For now, wish me luck and pray for me that eventho this is not my thing, I'll nail it good and will last for 2 years.
Fingers crossed and hopefully this will be a positive turning point in my life.

Transition
I am laughing so hard at myself right now HAHAHA what was I thinking?! I was so naive, my goodness. I just read my whole entire blog, from the first post up till now. Okay, I don't even know how to begin this cause I still cant get over how funny this whole thing is, I mean HOW FUNNY I WAS. Anyway, let's have a quick self review over the years okay.
First things first, even though I thought I was funny and naive but those posts brought back so many beautiful memories. I mean in the beginning of this blog, I was my real pure white self. That innocent naive girl getting to know the world, discovering love, discovering friends, learning things and basically the whole thing was a learning process. I didn't realize I was such a happy-go-lucky girl and I really really miss that girl. If only she could come back, I'd really like to see her. But mow I sure as hell know that everybody can say RIP to that innocent soul of mine hahaha. I grew up, I learned and I changed.
Next, I do regret not mentioning names or not even writing/updating on the specific date. Its always one month or months after it happened. I mean, ah damn it such memories went to waste. I mean im getting older ya know so soon I cant remember everyone and everything. Mystery was the key before but now that mystery aint working so good on my memory hahaha I wish I can remember better after reading certain things. Especially names! I'm starting to forget names and certain people now, what the hell. Age is really starting to catch up. Oh oh and also pictures! Ah regret for not uploading pictures, those are memories too okay! Since 2009 till today, I've lost 2 laptops worth of pictures and I regret not uploading those pictures and now, its all gone.
Thirdly, I know there were times I was not inspired to write and skipped the whole year haih wish I at least share one highlight of the year so I have something good to remember about that year. Oh and also, how did I become so bitter? Wow, and I never knew I could be hopeless romantic and cheesy. Yuck! I had goosebumps reading those writings of mine hahaha I guess love can really make you feel a lot of things ey. I still cant stop laughing on how mushy and romantic I was eeee hahaha.
Next, I SHOULD WRITE MORE RESOLUTION SHIT ON MY BLOG. I mean just to keep track on myself and see if I really go out there, kick asses and achieve goals. Or just lying down on my bed wishing I fulfill those things and regret about it my whole life.
Lastly, realizing how much I've changed and how mature I've become from that naive innocent little girl. Maybe I am more realistic now. I mean seriously, life is starting to hit me up; Responsibilities, priorities changed, small circle of friends that matters, family is more important now ah those adult shit. I still cant believe I've lived for a quarter century. Ah even my tone of writing changed hahaha. I dont know, I would like to still see this blog 5 years from now and see if I still laugh my ass off reading my own writing. Actually, that old bubbly self of mine is inspiring me now to be that again. Who would have known my own blog, my own self can be my inspiration hahaha I am one twisted girl kan? Hahaha lets just wait 5 years from now okay.
Always reflect back and always set to improve yourself to live better life.
xx.

Perhentian Island : Part 1
Just a heads up, this is my first time taking a long bus ride ever in my life. Dont laugh.
Fiq : Shit its almost 8.30, wheres lena?
Me : You better call her or shes gonna miss the bus and cry.
*Calls Lena*
Me : Wait, lemme check if she missed this bus, can she join us at the next station or not.
Bus conductor : Boleh dik, tapi kat TBS la kalau dia sempat sebab pergi selalunya bus on time. Kalau lambat mmg tinggal tapi boleh la tunggu lagi 5 minit.
Waited while smoking outside the bus and there it was, Lena and Wan who went straight in the bus looking for us at our seats. As usual, we were the last to board the bus -____-
We were tired but excited so we tried staying up for as long as we can to chit chat and catch up but OBVIOUSLY we were the only noisy passenger in the bus and it was night ride so we decided not to annoy other passengers while they sleep and shut up. Then, the bus stopped at the next station, TBS.
Me : Girls, better be going to the toilet now since the toilet here is clean and I dont think this bus is stopping anywhere else after this.
*All of us except Wan went down and went to the toilet to clear our tanks before accident happens, ya know what I mean. I went for a quick smoke*
We got onto the bus and continued our journey. I stayed up for about 10 minutes and drift off to sleep. Much needed sleep please! My sister had warned me that the bus ride is going to be cold especially if its at night. I said okay and packed sweater and shawl into my bag, realizing it was NOT ENOUGH to keep me warm because the bus driver decided to blast off the air cond to the MAX -__________- I was sleeping nicely and peacefully for the first 4 hours and got woken up by chills from the stupid air cond. Tried my very best to keep changing positions to find that spot with least air cond but failed :( it was blasting from every single angle so I had no choice but to curled myself up on the chair. Apart from all that chaos I caused myself, the bus seat was comfortable and I was happy with my purchase. 4-5 hours later, we arrived at Kuala Besut jetty/bus station. Ah what a wonderful morning I said to myself *stretched* Its been awhile since I last seen sunrise so yeay! Until my back started aching and it was naaay -_- freshen up and decided to walk around until the shops were open since it was too early in the morning, no shops were open for us to eat. Wait, actually for ME to eat. Yes, sucks travelling with me cause I need food all the time. Found one shop and it was packed, everyone was just waiting for the shops to open and attack the food. Pretty nice breakfast, I love the sambal! Oh and the cashier aunty was so energetic, while eating I was wondering how can someone be so energetic at this hour?! I look like im dying at this hour of the day. We actually got kicked out after we finished eating because there were so many people attacking her restaurant, they had no choice but to make those who finished eating, leave, to make space for new customers.
About half an hour later, we got on the boat to get to the hotel. We were staying at ShariLa Hotel. Since the boat dropped us off so early, so our room wasnt ready. We all decided to change and head to the beach.
So while walking and checking out other resorts, restaurants and chilling place, we realized we've come to the end of the beach and decided to swim there because everywhere else were filled with boats. Oh! And also some perverts who dont know how to cover their pervert activities -___- .
That was us looking all calm and chill when inside we couldnt wait to release our jakunness hahaha. So we found this end of the beach with rocks, aha perfect! We all can put our clothes to dry on the rocks and our other stuff so none of us have to be that ONE person who takes care of other peoples' belongings while others have fun. Wan, being the most excited one cause she had never been to the beach before and swim with fish or at the side of the rocks hahaha. Girls being girls, so we were swimming and posing while walking into the water so we'll get that oh-such-a-candid-picture moments before realizing there was these two indian/pakistan guys swimming behind this big rock and he started telling his other friends in their language that there are hot girls taking out their clothes and in their bikini so hurry and try to go closer. THANK GOD I could understand their language. Oh and btw, his friends were all up there standing close to the railing to watch us. So there five of them staring from the restaurant pretending to talk to his two other friends in the sea over the other side of our rock and one bugger held up his phone pretending to be snapping his friend's picture but hello my friend, why is your camera heading our side while your friends are waaaaaay on the other side?! It was so bloody obvious and I got annoyed. Then suddenly, four guys from the restaurant decided to dip in with their two other friends who were in there earlier, like whaaaat?! Then that guy in white, that CAMERA GUY ergh was left alone at the restaurant to snap more pictures of them (us)! Seriously, not bragging here but he moved the camera towards us in such obvious manner and made us all uncomfortable. I was already so annoyed so I told the girls, we'll snap more pictures at our next activity okay? Lets eat, Im hungry. Had to come up with a reason the girls cant object so we'll move our butts out from the water. So we walked away from them as they were watching us with faces like; why are you girls leaving already? We want more pictures/boob/ass or anything else that is not covered as long as theres skin showing off, even flabs, really -____- FInally! Out from there and chilled at this restaurant to try this Sneakers and Mars chocolate bar milkshake. I was told Perhentian is famous for this so we decided to order those two and of course being in Terengganu, you cannot not eat keropok lekor! Oh just for extra info here, the food price there is not cheap. And please be prepared with enough cash cause there is no ATM machine, unless u take a taxi boat and they'll take you to fisherman's village where theres clinic, ATM and whatnot. Although the drinks&food were overpriced but the keropok lekor was so good!
Yes, I disconnect myself with the outside world when theres food in front of me. Yes, I wont even realize a hot hunk passing by when I eat, cause food is much more interesting at the time, actually...at any time!
So this is just quarter of day one okay, then we decided to go to Long Beach. We just have to follow the track from our side of the beach to get to the other side, means mini jungle trekking which takes about 15minutes. We were all struggling to climb up the mini mountain, I mean its a small one but its SO STEEP. Dont worry, we survived! And wow my goodness, the water at Long Beach is much clearer BUT it was much hotter this side cause theres no boats and no restaurants with shades that we can walk under to protect us from the hot sun. Just so you know, its 12pm. The sun was so hot I couldnt take it and decided to just dip myself in the water. Duhhh, science logic; if land is hot then water is cold, if land is cold then water is hot. Ah genius me! So without further a due, I jumped in the water ahhhh so cool and so fresh! But my head was burning, I can fry eggs on my head. Then the rest decided to jump in too, we were surrounded by mat salleh and felt safe cause they usually mind their own business and not bothered about us unlike those indians/pakistans. Wan and Lena decided to rent snorkeling goggles cause Wan was just too excited to see fish and there was none, while me and fiq decided to chill and keep dipping ourselves in the water with shades on. And of course snap pictures! These two excited monkeys, Wan and Lena, went to the other end of the beach near the rocks and all cause apparently theres fish. And yes, there was fish so we were called to join them at the rocks. I went and swim with them while fiq decided to have a break and smoke while covering her head with everything she could find, she looked like some taliban guy, I swear. Wan got so excited, she made friends with this Barcelona chick who took her to see fish along the rocks. And just so you know, Wan do not know how to swim, lemme repeat that, Wan DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SWIM. We knew something was up cause it took them so long to come back and we saw them walking back towards us through the rocks and bam! We knew it, something happened cause Wan lost her snorkeling goggle. True enough, she got so excited and dived a lil deeper that her snorkeling breather got in the water and she panicked and she almost drowned. ALMOST DROWNED guys. Thats it, activities over and lets head back to the hotel to check out our room. The room was okay, its just a budget room and nothing fancy err I wouldnt recommend. Just enough to sleep and shower and chill. But it took us 10 minutes to walk from the lobby to the room -__- it was quite a walk. Settled in and showered, smoked up some G's and laughed our asses off and went to sleep. Woke up just in time for dinner but what a bummer cause it was raining the whole night, how to go out when it was such a walk from one shelter to the other? Ahhh dang it, we smoked up some G's and eat whatever we brought to keep us from dying while waiting for the rain to stop kinda 'survival' mode. Aha the rain stopped! Lets go! As we rushed out, the rain started again so we decided to just go out cause we need food :( So went to this place called Ombak, beautiful. It was also Lena's birthday dinner. I thought I was part of the team, little did I know I was on the same team as Lena. Both surprised and received birthday presents. Oh and btw, Mai Sabrina who couldnt join us on this trip was being such a sweetheart by sponsoring my whole trip as a birthday gift that got me feeling so blessed and lucky! But no, she didnt stop there.. She had to grab the im-the-best-friend-of-year medal by giving me, my long awaited BOOK; Whiskey, Words and a Shovel!!!! This is huge okay guys! Who would wanna spend so much on someone like that?! What did I do to deserve such a friend like her?! Of course, my sister is the mastermind behind this surprise. So I was a happy girl, went back to the hotel cause it was still raining (can you believe it?) and chill. We were laughing and comparing skins; who got tanned and who did not. Well, to everyone's surprise, IM THE MOST TANNED ONE OKAY! Never ever in the history of my 25 years of living. Off to sleep.
Realizing that this post is longer than expected cause there is just so much to share! Gaaaah, part 2 is coming soon before i forget all the good little details.
xx
About half an hour later, we got on the boat to get to the hotel. We were staying at ShariLa Hotel. Since the boat dropped us off so early, so our room wasnt ready. We all decided to change and head to the beach.
'Hey, this is a good idea! Since im lacking of vitamin D and the best source of vitamin D is the sunlight from sunrise till 10.30am" said me who was trying to convince myself to go out and play under the hot sun which I wont be bothered to do back in the city. My sleep is my PRECIOUS okay!
So while walking and checking out other resorts, restaurants and chilling place, we realized we've come to the end of the beach and decided to swim there because everywhere else were filled with boats. Oh! And also some perverts who dont know how to cover their pervert activities -___- .

The Journal
21st May 2016
*phone beeping* Prims : Are you awake birthday girl? Dont forget our date! Be home by 12pm.
D : Morning.. *checks phone* Shit its 11.20pm, wake up! G is already texting me to send you home. Go shower now!
Me : Okay okay, Im awake. I'll go for my shower now. Shit, our hotel booking and lunch with mum.
Shit! Woke up with a slight hangover and rushed home to be with my Queen.
Ah so hot outside, such a bright sunny day today. Ah what a perfect day to be celebrating our birthday, I said to myself. As I reached home I saw mum was still packing, ah yes I am not late. Then I decided to off load certain things in my room and started gossiping with Fiq about last night hahah (our usual activity the morning after). Then I heard my dad knocked on our door asking us to hurry up. I came out of the room and saw mum, ran and hugged her (more of like jumping on her) hahah wished her and hand in the bouquet of flowers I decided to do for her. She was so happy, her face lit! So we kissed Asher goodbye and walked out the door headed for the car. Settled in and everyone was so happy though I was a lil tired but I had to keep a happy face for my mum. Me and my mum were just enjoying the car ride not knowing where were we going. Aha! There it was, our destination 'Royal Chulan Hotel' yessss I am so hungry I can eat a cow. We parked and rushed to the restaurant following my sister since she wanted to surprise us with this Hi-Tea date. Me and my mum was just looking at the delicious desserts and I can hear my stomach growling out of hunger hahaha. And then the waitress said "Sorry miss, you got the wrong hotel. This is at Royal Bintang Hotel". We all laughed and walked back to the car and saw dad. We told him the scenario and he was so mad because he was so angry (as if it was his birthday -____-) he was so angry and we had no other choice but not to pressure him with the driving by keeping quiet. Fiq wazed and let the waze talk the routes out to my dad, she did not dare gulp down her saliva let alone speak a word to him hahahahahaha I dont know why I find it funny when Fiq is scared. We all saw the big hotel signboard at the end of the road and felt relieved, not because we've reached and we can eat BUT ah dad can finally stop being angry and cranky. We stuffed our tummy with food and by the time I finished eating, I felt so tired. But, I LOVE THE PRAWN CURRY! OMG it was the highlight of the buffet, I swear I never tasted such well cooked prawn curry like that in such a long time.
The Journal Hotel
Dad was happy, mum was happy, everyone was happy and stuffed. Now it is time for the hotel which is mum's big surprise. Actually a surprise for me too cause we didn't check the hotel out before. It was perfect! At least to me it was perfect, I felt like a tourist in my own city hahaha. But the service was a bit slow. We waited 2 hours to check in and my dad got so mad he created a scene at the reception, we were so embarrassed. Got in the room and YES WE HIT JACKPOT! Cause mum was so happy with this surprise (my mum is the hardest to please, her pleasing bar is just above the seven skies).
I thought yes finally I can sleep and rest my eyes BUT NO, it was time for gifts. After gifts session, we had to get ready for Uncle Ravi's function. The story was, his daughter had the same birthday as us and so we were invited as special guests to be celebrating this day together with his daughter. And there goes my sleep again. A busy day, it really was. It was a nice hotel in puchong, Four Points by Sheraton.
And guess who was my date?! Pangeran Muhammad Qais!
The Morning After
After dropping dad home, we rushed back to the hotel to finally shower and get some rest. We were all so exhausted. We thought lets check the rooftop pool out but sadly it was closed. I was chilling with Danial and Fiq while my mum were bathing, suddenly D said he is coming to see me and chill for a bit. D came and we walked around the area, bought one of the nicest kebab by the street. There was so many people queuing up but it was worth it. The Arab kebab guy thought D's name was Kim, hahahaha he made D chinese. It was so funny. I went back to the room and heard the snoring game. Literally, each of them were competing in snores. I decided to wake up next morning for breakfast, with only 4 hours of sleep. So i woke everyone up and went down for breakfast. The breakfast spread was simple but lovely. We all felt like were in USA again. The vibe of that hotel is just lovely. Then we all decided to swim except mum cause she didn't wanna be tanned -____- So all three of us decided to have a short photoshoot sesh. Danial hated it but was forced to be a part of it, in the end he willingly joined us hahaha.
Literally, had to force him as you can see in the last picture hahahaha. We checked out and decided to walk around kl like tourists. Pavilion was the last stop cause we realized, we travel better with car in town hahaha. Met kimmy for 15minutes and went back home. We were dead tired until Kimmy decided to take us all out for karaoke sesh since its still my birthday. We sang our lungs out and head home at 4 in the morning. It was all worth it. I guess this is what it feels like being twenty five.
25, grateful and blessed.

Quarter Century
I am officially twenty five.
I know this is a late post but I haven't got the time to update and only recently I decided to continue writing, since I am going to be jobless soon.
Acme, Bangsar
Anyway, back to the story. So every year on my birthday there'll be two celebrations; one with friends which is on the night before my birthday and one on my birthday itself with the fam bam because me and my mama, we share the same birthday (am i special or what, to be sharing the same birthday as my mum?!). Well, out of all the years that I have been living with so many different extravaganza celebrations, this year hmm I didn't expect anything and I wasn't even excited like I always do (maybe age factor) or maybe because everyone else is so busy with their own life that it is so hard to get everybody together. Hence, I learned one thing this year and that is; when you don't expect anything at all from anyone (minus the birthday presents) you'll feel content and of course a lil surprised (just to make everybody happy with their surprise) hahaha. And BOOM there it was, D took me on a beautiful birthday dinner at Acme, Bangsar. Actually theres so many details about birthday celebration and I just don't know where to start hmmm.
Okay first, I know the mastermind behind this is my sister (only she knows what I want) and of course D. The rest were invited but them of course! My very special guest who came all the way from JB is Kimmy, my baby G! I was so happy when I saw her cause she missed my birthday for two years already so this year was special cause she made it down all the way from her busy schedule just for me, how lovely. I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world. There she is, in the picture below.
And of course, the mastermind herself.

Of course there is the rest and another special person, Shamir Ariffin! Whose birthday is just two days before mine :) he too, made it all the way from Sentul to Bangsar for my birthday dinner, despite, not sleeping for two days haih. I feel so blessed.
So these was all taken after dinner outside the restaurant cause obviously, better lighting ahahaha.
The Sixth
And we all moved onto The Sixth, Bangsar for my birthday countdown. I swear the slice of cake I got was super delicious. First time ever, I finished my cake cause I am not a cake person but this time it was really good. I can't recall the name but its some Peach Crumble something, you may look for it at Acme or The Sixth, not sure where the cake came from cause everything is a secret that the birthday girl shouldn't know -.- So as the clock strike 12, came that delicious piece of cake which is making my mouth watery again now and the whole gang sang happy birthday song to me. The only thing was missing was D!!
Whatsapp : D, where are you?
D : Im at 7E buying cigarettes for everyone, never mind, you guys carry on.
-_____________________________________-
So being the kind person as I am *coughs* I waited for D to come back and made everybody sing again and cut the cake. So that means I get to blow my cake twice and made two wishes hahaha.
And we partied all the way till the bar shuts down. Kavi, Kyian and Riena left earlier because they had work to do the next day and I find it very sweet of them to be attending my birthday when I just got to know them. They even bought me cupcakes from Bisou! How sweet is that?! I have decided that they are my new squad and I just love Kyian, he is the bomb. I knew we would be bffs the moment I knew him. Riena is just this sweet girl, always saying the nice things to make you feel sensibly good. And Kavi, which is Riena's brother, he is also the sweetest. They all made me talk and made me feel like their friends, the first time I met them and something warm about them that makes me feel comfortable.
Last but not least of course, D's bffs.
So there it was, a beautiful Friday night to celebrate my 25th birthday and I was very happy that everybody managed to take some time off their busy schedule for me. I felt so special. Thank you so much. I appreciate every second of it. I wish I could turn back time and be there on my chair again, looking at everyone talking to each other.
Cheers to everybody for making this happen for me. I am happy to say I am entering the quarter century group feeling blessed. And oh our very own tradition, to let go each and every balloon with a wish. Just a tradition, me and my sister created to make it more special :)
*I know this post is a lil too long but I just had to squeeze every moment in cause it is just too special.
Close your eyes, make a wish and blow the candle Qilah.
xx
